Chang
Tai Piao Lu is north east of Zhang Zhou and a whole
lot of fun. We hired a taxi for under 100 yuan each way from
Zhang Zhou and it takes less than an hour to get there. If you
want to catch the bus to the town it's about six yuan but this
area doesn't have taxis yet. If you're game you can hire a motorbike
for a 100 yuan both ways with three people and the rider. |

Ultra
light flying. This
is fantastic and worth every yuan and minute. You fly around
the surrounding area for ten minutes viewing the river and mountains.
The advertised price is 168 yuan per ride but with connections
from local people you can get it cheaper. I wanted to video
the flight but wasn't allowed so you need to come and find out
for yourself. |

White
water rafting.
This is about 2 hours and you'll need to bring a change of clothes
because you will get wet.The advertised price is 168 yuan and
just like the ultra light can be cheaper with the help of knowing
some locals. If you don't have a change of clothes or you forgot
you can buy shorts and t-shirt for 30 yuan. |

The
mountain hike. This
takes 5 hours and includes food, during the peak season you
might need to make a reservation. This cost 100 yuan per person
and can be cheaper. |

The
firing range. If
you want to blow off some steam or feel powerful for a short
while then go to the firing range. One bullet cost 5 yuan but
this gets addictive once you fire the first shot. |
