Question 1
A person who spends his/her entire life only to make other people happy but very little to make themselves happy would you consider this person to be:
A person who doesn't need happiness so he/she spends his/her life trying to help people find theirs.
Or do you believe that he/she is not happy and to find happiness is making other people happy.
Each group must give an answer to this question by giving their opinion.
 
Question 2
The first man tells another man that he wants to be rich and famous but the second man tells him that it is impossible because to be rich you have to be lucky.
Is the second man telling the first man because he is being true and honest, the first man is a dreamer who needs to face reality?
Or the second man doesn't believe in himself and believes that dreams don't come so he tells the first man?
Each group must give an answer to this question by giving their opinion.
 
Question 3
A woman gets angry at a man for throwing rubbish on the ground but the man says "but everybody does it, so why can't I?"
It makes no difference if one bit of rubbish will be thrown onto the ground so the woman shouldn't get angry.
Or if one person stops the habit and slowly the next person stops soon the state of the environment will get better and it only takes one.
Each group must give an answer to this question by giving their opinion.
 
Question 4
A person who comes from an extremely wealthy family goes to university but doesn't study very hard.
This person doesn't have to worry about finding a job when he/she graduates so why should he/she worry?
Despite what background he/she has the purpose of studying isn't about getting a job but to expand your knowledge.
Each group must give an answer to this question by giving their opinion.
 
Question 5
An American woman comes to China, she doesn't smoke and in America it's impolite to smoke when there is a no smoking sign. She gets angry at the Chinese man and tells him he shouldn't smoke.
Do you believe that she is right and should scald people for smoking in a no smoking area?
Or do you believe that she should adjust to the culture, "when in Rome do what the Romans do."
Each group must give an answer to this question by giving their opinion.
 
Question 6
We need electricity but some power plants pollute the air, wind power is cleaner but it is also an eye sore when the tall propellers are on top of a hill.
We like to look at the beautiful natural scenery so we don't want to see a big tall propeller despite the environment.
Natural power is better than coal despite the fact we have to put them on a hill and ruin the scenery.
Each group must give an answer to this question by giving their opinion.
 
Question 7
A man makes a lot of money so he wants to buy a car to show how successful he is. Though with pollution, increasing oil prices and traffic becoming more and more should he not buy a car because of it?
He has the right to do so and no one should tell him what to do.
He has a responsibility and should not contribute to the problems that are constantly increasing in the world today.
Each group must give an answer to this question by giving their opinion.
 
Question 8
A man goes to a Christmas party and he is the only one who doesn't have a gift for the other people there because he believes that you only buy children gifts.
Do you believe that you only buy children Christmas and birthday gifts and adults are too old for gift giving?
Or do you believe that the man is wrong and giving gifts is something adults should do as well as a sign of friendship?
Each group must give an answer to this question by giving their opinion.
 
Question 9
A girl dates a boy who is the friend of an old boyfriend from about two years ago, the old boyfriend is angry with the friend for dating her.
Do you think it is okay to date a friend's old girlfriend if they have been separated for a long time?
Or do you believe that you should never date someone who dated your friend no matter how long the have separated?
Each group must give an answer to this question by giving their opinion.
 
Question 10
A group of people are sharing a house together, one of them is a vegetarian and she doesn't want the other housemates to cook meat in the house.
Should the other housemates respect her wishes and never cook meet in the house?
Or should the girl respect the others because there is more of them than her?
