Stereotype.
If a person from Mars came to Earth in a spaceship and was extremely rude then we would assume everyone on Mars is just as rude as him. But he may just be the only rude Martian and all of the other people are friendly. From our only encounter of someone from Mars we make this judgment of the rest of the people. This is called stereotyping and it is people's biggest flaw that can result to war.
Americans believe that all Australians live in the country with pet kangaroos and catch crocodiles. The reason why they think this is because the TV shows and movies they have seen of Australians are catching crocodiles and not much else. So from the limited amount of TV shows of Australia they assume that Australians catch crocodiles. Also Australians think that all Americans think that we all catch crocodiles because we have heard some stories about Americans saying that we do this.

Racism.
Being a foreign teacher in China I have witnessed some other foreigners who are rude to Chinese which makes me look as bad as they are. They may come from a different country but because they look similar to me Chinese may assume I am rude as they are. This other foreigner may be from Europe and I'm from Australia which is very far away. Though despite the distance Chinese won't know which country we come from so we are therefore all the same to them. This is one reason why I like to teach where there is less foreigners.
But for Americans this is worse because if you are white then Chinese will assume you're an American so if I was to be rude they would say "that damn American is so rude, I hate Americans!"
In your group how does racism effect our life, some people may have a bad experience with a person from a different culture and then hate all of the other people from the same culture. Some people may refuse to do business with a person from another culture because they think that they're not trust worthy. What other things about racism are there?
Class gap.
In Australia a job building or working with your hands that require a lot of skill is a highly paid job because of the small population. Also there is not too much opportunity for so many different types of jobs in Australia because of the small population. My father use to build houses because there wasn't a lot of other jobs to do for working class Australians when he was. I use to help him build houses when I was young and I enjoyed it.
In other cultures some people look down at people who work with their hands and a business man said to me he thinks that those people are stupid. This offended me quite a lot because it is my background so I never continued to talk to this man or to try to do any business with him. I come from a working class family and I don't think that we are stupid nor did I think he was smarter than my father.
Though my father had to become a businessman because of the lack of work for builders and so he made the change of work. When he told his family and friends this they said to him he shouldn't become a business man. The reason was that working class Australians believe that business people are heartless people who will cheat others out of their money.
In your group how is the class gap effecting your country and what is the attitude between the people. In any society there must be the rich and the worker for a stable economy. Why do you think that there is a gap between people because of how much money they make?
Overall in a world of people what makes it to be interesting is the difference between us and it is very fascinating. Though why do you think people hate certain other people and yet they may not have ever met such a person?
