Class work requiring students to work in pairs or as a group. Also concentric circle exercises. Students ask questions and discuss with each other. Rather than wait their turn they can do this all at the same time. I use this as a chance to spend some time with students individually.

Description: in each group there is three or so students and one student will start the topic and continue the sentence.
