If you are working for a school which requires you to give a score for class work to the students, this is what I use. This allows students to prepare and practice by allowing class time or either for homework. Some projects have separate topics to print out with the project info.
Difficult vocabulary exercises.
If you want students to use vocabulary that isn't simple then these could be useful. They have six selected words with the inflections and sentence use.
Description: groups are in different situations, and they will work together to form a short play about being in trouble.
Aim: to build story structure and use certain vocabulary.
Description: groups have to build a play and focus on character building, creating a character who is deceptive.

Description: using dreams as a base for creating a role-play.
Aim: groups get to decide which topic they like to perform.
Description: to tell an anecdote as a class presentation.
Aim: to structure a verbal story.
Description: students are given a scenario and they must create an outcome.
Aim: to work together to illustrate what would happen in a situation.
Description: this project is based on the expression "the grass is greener on the other side."
Aim: groups will present how being rich, famous or having the things they want is not what it cracked up to be.
Description: groups are given random scenarios and outcomes to form a short role-play.
Aim: to come up with a story how a situation could end up with that outcome.
Description: we all have our flaws, but, when trying to understand why people are the way they are is difficult.
Aim: each group has a different type of person to portray and why they do what they do.
Description: This is presentation of speech giving not role-plays. Each group has to prepare a speech based on the topic given to them.
Aim: develop speech giving skills
Description: This project is to practice giving information in a clear and concise manner. Not just to practice transitional words but to offer helpful tips when cooking.
Aim: to give an instructional presentation on a process of doing something.
